Behind the velvet curtain

The objects that create the atmosphere of the auditorium — digitised in 3D

Introduction

Some objects are touched by audiences every evening yet barely noticed: the velvet seat, the lantern on stage, the costume on its mannequin. The digital museum scans each one in 3D to record its original form before every restoration — and so that you can turn and zoom in on them on your phone.
